Purchase of the Week #3

This weeks purchase was more of a bulk shop. The great thing about childrens books is that kids outgrow them and careless parents dispose of them to charity. These books were found in a local charity shop today for between 25 and 50p! This purchase included the original verson Richard Scarry's Best Word Book Ever which was recently discussed on Drawn!, a 70s version of Judith Kerr's (the woman behind Mog) The Tiger who came to tea and a 60s copy of Robert Lopshire's Put Me the Zoo. I also very much like the lovely 60s lithographed book called Sunday (more photos on flickr and a great little book about kittens with wonderful/terrifying illustrations by Racey Helps. It doesn't get any better than boxing kittens!
